Highest qualification: Postgraduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation, University of Stellenbosch
Ms Amulungu is an independent consultant working in the monitoring and evaluations field. She has worked with government, NGOs and international organisations. She’s been contracted by Ministry of Environment and Tourism to develop an M&E framework as well as to carry out a Baseline Study for the project scaling up community resilience to climate variability and climate change in Northern Namibia (SCORE) with funding from Global Environmental Facility (GEF). She has also consulted for the Ministry of Health and Social Services for the End of Review for National Strategic Framework for HIV/AIDS (NSF).
Prior to her independent work, she worked as Manager for Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) at Millennium Challenge Account Namibia (MCA-N). She also worked for the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Namibia Country Office as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, where she was responsible for handling M&E related activities and coordinating research activities. Apart from her M&E work, she has a background in the public policy research environment. She was a Chief Economist in the National Planning Commission (NPC), where she engaged with developmental challenges and planning processes, and she also worked for the Namibia Economic Policy Research Unit (NEPRU).
