Ms Chenga is the lead adviser on the Zambia Accountability Programme (ZAP). As lead adviser she ensures that the programme is managed within two approaches to improving accountability and so better matching government services with peoples’ needs. She also works closely with colleagues across DFID teams and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) in analysing and understanding the political economy of Zambia in general and in the context of bilateral support. Prior to joining DFIDZ, she worked for various bilateral aid programmes, specifically on governance, poverty reduction, development policy related assistance to state and non-state actors.
