Resource Mobilisation Manager- National Initiative for Civic Education (NICE) Public Trust
Highest Qualification: BA Political Philosophy & Public Administration, University of Malawi.
Mr. Chipeta leads in mobilizing resources for the NICE Trust which is the biggest public institution responsible for Civic and voter education, building and supporting active citizenship, and public education on strategic policy programmes. He is in charge of building strategic partnerships, business development, managing investments for the trusts and mobilizing support from supporters from funders and other collaborators.
Before joining NICE Public Trust, and prior to registering for the Masters Programme, Mr. Chipeta worked for National Smallholder Association of Malawi (NASFAM) where heled and supported NASFAM staff, farmer associations and partners in carrying out policy analyses, coordinated evidence gathering and the use of data for policy influencing, programme and partnership development.
He has over 12 years’ experience in the public, semi-private (farmer organisation), and International Organizations and NGO sector.
Mr. Chipeta sees the MPhil in Development Policy and Practice as a good fit for his career aspirations.
