Policy and Governance Officer and Coordinator – NEPAD Agency
Highest Qualification: BCom Honours in Business Management, University of South Africa.
Ms. Gopaul conducts research and analysis and provides policy support to the CEO’s office on political and socio-economic developments relating to NEPAD implementation. She supports the development and maintenance of institutional relations with key partners at the bilateral and multilateral level, in particular through the G8, G20, BRICS, TICAD and the Presidential Infrastructure Initiative process.
Prior to her role at NEPAD Agency, Ms. Gopaul was an Analytical Coordinator and Statistical Database Administrator at the Enriched Management Studies programme, under the Faculty of Economics at the University of Kwazulu-Natal.
Ms. Gopaul is inspired by the pioneering work that is done at the Graduate School of Development Policy and Practice and decided to pursue an MPhil because it fits her career in policy development.
