Mr Simumba is an international development professional with wide experience in economic development, public policy planning and trade development in developing countries with a particular focus towards trade, investment and private sector development. He has also worked in UK and Western Europe as a Senior Consultant. He has extensive cross cultural experience in managing and leading consulting engagements that have realized great value to both the private and public sector. His wide experience has regularly required him to work collaboratively with government institutions, private sector and other stakeholders in a multi-country setting to achieve goals, often with high-level senior government officials.
Mr. Simumba has supported projects funded by the European Commission, UK DFID, World Bank, and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the United Nations, the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the World Bank and others. He has been regularly required to work collaboratively with public institutions, private sector and other stakeholders in a multi-country setting to achieve goals, often with high-level government officials.
He believes the master's programme will equip him with a new set of skills to enhance his capabilities as a strategic leader in the public sector and civil society.
