Responsible for monitoring national policy and developing policy positions on relevant social issues, as well as training and other programmes to empower FEDUSA members, especially women. This position involves advocacy, research, stakeholder relations and dialogue, campaign development and management. Before this she was project coordinator for Early Childhood Development for a social impact NGO, SASDI, working closely with local government in the provision of ECD services. She has a particular interest in gender and development, which was the focus of her Honours degree, and in translating policy into realistic programmes and interventions.
