Ms Zhanje is responsible for the project management of the Rwanda country programme within the Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN). The role entails engaging and scoping projects with the Government of Rwanda, engaging with donors in Rwanda on climate change and development issues, procurement of suppliers, overseeing the delivery of projects including managing project risks, providing quality assurance of project outputs and supporting the projects monitoring and evaluation. As CDKN is a global programme, a key responsibility is to ensure that lessons learnt from the delivery of the Rwanda programme feed into CDKN internal processes and are disseminated externally, contributing to wider learning on climate compatible development.
She was previously employed as a junior project manager also at CDKN. Her main responsibility was to provide project management support to the Africa Knowledge Management and Partnerships Coordinator and the Africa Senior Technical Assistance Manager. This support included project scoping, procurement and implementation support as well as providing support to cross-regional and cross-country learning within CDKN.
