Ms Munkatha-Lumba is a consultant at UNICEF Zambia. She provides technical and administrative support to strengthen the Directorate of Open and Distance Education’s capacity to provide quality education for vulnerable groups, particularly girls and out of school children. She works with communities, institutions and national decision making bodies that shape the landscape for development policy and practice in this field.
Prior to this position, she was a Communications Consultant at Chemonics International, where she responsible for providing technical and administrative support to the Department of Public Relations in order to institutionalize the education sector communications strategy.
Ms Munkatha-Lumba has 17 years experience working in international development programmes across different fields. She believes the master's programme will strengthen her competencies and skills in leadership and contribute towards a motivated and solution oriented network of development practitioners concerned about the role of education in development.
